When the banks are considering a Short Sale, getting a BPO is one of the main factors they use in determining what to approve the short sale for. In today’s ever changing real estate market, I would rather trust the opinion of a real estate Broker, to determine the value of my home.

When the banks get a BPO, they pay for it. The price they pay, depends on the bank and the Broker doing the BPO.
